The most important one was the fact that they lacked any kind of resistance to the diseases that the Europeans brought with them. The natives were several inches taller and were better fed but smallpox almost wiped them out.
European diseases killed many native Americans because they the natives Americans weren't exposed to the many diseases the Europeans had built up a tolerance for. This made it much easier for the Europeans to conquer the Americas because the natives put up less of a resistance.
Two key factors that made Africa vulnerable to European conquest were internal divisions and technological disparities. Many African societies were fragmented along ethnic, linguistic, and political lines, which made it easier for European powers to exploit these divisions and establish control. Additionally, Europeans had superior military technologies, such as firearms and naval capabilities, which gave them a significant advantage in conflicts against African forces.

Up to 50 million Native Americans were affected by such conquest. Most of them were either enslaved, died of European-brought disease or moved to increasingly hostile territories - such as deserts and jungles - running away from European encroachment.
The European conquest and occupation of the Americas was a major change in this area of the world. Beginning in the 1500's by the Spanish, the Native Americans they found there were slowly made irrelevant by wars and captivity. This was most evident in the islands of the Caribbean Sea and in Mexico and most of South America. Portugal laid claim to Brazil. In North America the Native Americans were either killed in wars with the Europeans or relegated to reservations. England, France and the Netherlands conquered much of this continent. Later the USA, occupied the areas that were formerly part of European conquests.
