I don't intend for this to be a comprehensive answer, but I think it's success is mostly because it breathed new life into something that was old and dying - Magical Girls. Magical Girl series prior to Sailor Moon only ever used their powers to do things like disguise themselves as their older sisters to get information on their crushes. On the other end of the spectrum, there were some superhero shows that might have had a token girl teammate that wasn't completely worthless.
Then comes Sailor Moon, where the main character, a whiny crybaby that doesn't get good grades, gets to use her magical powers to obliterate demons. It was revolutionary.
There are only 5 seasons of Sailor Moon (anime) and 1 season of Sailor Moon Live Action. So technically 6 seasons: 1. Sailor Moon 2. Sailor Moon R 3. Sailor Moon S 4. Sailor Moon SuperS 5. Sailor Moon Stars 6. Sailor Moon Live Action Only the first 4 seasons are dubbed into English so far.
Yes on YouTube I saw the Spanish intro for the first season of Sailor Moon so I would imagine they also made the episodes in Spanish.
There are a few video games made for the Super Nintendo in the late 1990's. The most popular being Sailor Moon: Another Story, a classic RPG where you fight monsters for experience so you can level up. As of 2000, so video game companies have produced any Sailor Moon games. There were rumurs of making a Sailor Moon Wii, but they proved fruitless.
Sailor moon is no longer on air so you wont be seeing her on air any more
No. Sailor Moon Uncensored is a popular Sailor Moon site that covers all the changes that were made to the original Japanese anime series (which was not "dirty" or anything like it) when it was dubbed for North American audiences. Their site includes News, Editorials, Series information, Links, and more. Please see the website for yourself in the Related Links section.

To make a long answer short: Sailor V was the first ever Sailor Moon character. The creator of Sailor moon made the comic books first, that's what the anime is based off of (if you didn't know). Before Sailor Moon was ever created, Sailor V was the only Sailor Senshi (scout); however, to make the anime more attractive, the creator was asked to make a whole team of senshi (sailor scouts) instead of just one. So, Sailor V was technically the first to awaken her memory and power until she joined her place in the group of 5 and became Sailor Venus. It's sort of a joke that's she this famous super hero, and appears in games and poster in the anime. that really didn't answer the question i don't think. Sailor V is Serena's idol and she was in the video game that Serena loves. she is kind of like a celebrity, an icon if you will, in the program.
Techincally, both. Anime in the end is a cartoon (=animated series/movie) so as Sailor Moon is an anime, it's also a cartoon.
If you mean Sailor Moon classic then yes, it will be. The sequel to it is Sailor Moon R, practically the same series only with a different arc in the Sailor Moon classic series. Then there is of course Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Super S. There is a fifth arc but unfortuantely never released in America. It's called Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. It has been confirmed that a new Sailor Moon anime is coming in the summer of 2013. At the 20 year anniversary Naoko Takeuchi (manga artist/author) and Kondansha Comics confirmed it. Along with the Japanese voice actor of Tuxedo Mask and actress of Sailor Moon at the event. So, yes it will continue.
Sailor Chibichibi moon is also known as Sailor Mini-Moon, or Rini in 'real life'. Unfortunately, I don't know know her Chinese real name, so I'm sorry if that's what your looking for.
Kurai, also known as Sailor Moon ("Dark" in her Sailor name was taken out; she was previously called "Sailor Moon Dark"), is a fan-made character created for the as-yet-unaired "sixth season" of Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon: Sacrifice, created by xKaosu. She is essentially Princess Serenity's long-lost (apparently fraternal) twin sister who wields the same power as Usagi. The fan-made videos and artwork featuring Kurai are generally re-colors of Sailor Moon, with Kurai having black hair instead of blonde, black on her costume instead of white, blue, or yellow, and dark eyes instead of blue ones.
