The main reason one enters a drug abuse program is to get rid of an addiction to a form of drugs. Most patients who enter a rehabilitation program do not have the strength to master their addiction on their own.
The main reason for drug use is usually down to peer pressure that is older people using drugs around them would make them think by doing drugs it would make them more adult. This is not the case of course and you should never do drugs even if your peers (Elders, higher ranks etc) do them.
