Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
I deleted the previous answer which said "the Ohio River." While the Ohio River serves as a natural border between southern Ohio and northern West Virginia and Kentucky, it does not run through Ohio and is nowhere near Columbus (located in the middle of the state). The Olentangy and Scioto Rivers run through Columbus, Ohio. The Olentangy runs north to south, through the Ohio State University Campus. Just west of the Olentangy, the Scioto runs nortwest to south through downtown Columbus.
canton Columbus Cincinnati
Columbus, the capital city in the U.S. state of Ohio, is located on the Scioto and Olentangy rivers. Ohio has had three capital cities: Chillicothe, Zanesville, and Columbus. Chillicothe, Zanesville, and Columbus are not on the Ohio River. Cincinnati, a major city in Ohio, is on the Ohio River. However, Cincinnati never was the capital city in Ohio.
Very flat and monotonous if you are driving through it. But there are some good colleges, like Ohio and Kent State, and Cincinatti and Columbus are pretty major cities with lots of tourist attractions.
