Your belief in it is the only thing that makes it unlucky: friggatriskaidekaphobia
13 is considered irregular because it is one more than the complete 12 (many examples: 12 months, 12 zodiac signs, 12 apostles, etc.) Friday is considered bad because according to the most popular theory is that Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday. Combine the two and you have a very bad day which occurs 1-3 times a year.
Friday the 13th's Are unlucky!
Friggatriskaidekaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th and the belief that it is unlucky.
the unlucky day is Friday the 13th
Friday is not considered an unlucky day by people in Christian countries. Some superstitious people consider Friday the 13th an unlucky day.
Friday the 13th, also referred to as Black Friday in some countries, is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition.
Friday is considered unlucky because Jesus was crucified on Friday, but in Greece and the Spanish-speaking world, Tuesday is considered the unluckiest day of the week because the Ottoman Turks conquered Constantinople on a Tuesday (May 29, 1453).
In all honesty its lucky for me, I don't know why others find it unlucky, but they're just nuts

Jason's Unlucky Day 25 Years After Friday the 13th - The Final Chapter - 2009 V was released on: USA: 16 June 2009
Friday the 13th as an 'unlucky' day originated, most believe, from the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified on a Friday, and there were 13 people present at the Last Supper (himself and 12 disciples) on the Thursday night when he was betrayed. However, to regard the day of Friday 13th as 'unlucky' is based on superstition and has no place in Christian belief. Christians believe in a God who rules overall. Luck does not come into it. Therefore a superstitious belief in Friday 13th as being unlucky is totally incompatoble with Christian belief and doctrine; Christians do not rely on luck but on a loving God who is alongside them in the good times and the bad.
Well..., first you have to be born on the 13th of some month. But your birth-day has to be 13 years before a Friday the 13th in the same month. So the probability is low. It also depends on the month you were born. A very lucky,..AND TRUE..., example is my 13th birthday. I'll turn 13 on Friday the 13th of July in 2012. So...I'm rare. LOW PROBABILITY!!
it has never been unlucky people just say that it is. Signed aj santucci
