I also have a 2005 Nissan Altima and it has died 4 times since I have had it (45 days). usually does it at lower RPM and speed. I have it at Nissan for the power valve recall right now. and plan to check the Idle Air Control and clean it as soon as I get it back. It is located on the throttle body. I will let you know if it fixes the problem.
