Faulty gap settings on plugs or points or both.
faulty cap. Note if cap was dropped it could have developed microscopic cracks which allows spark to go through the cap.
Timing not set correctly.
dirty fuel filter or/and bad fuel.
Check the Park Avenue EGR valve for a clog. A clogged valve can cause a rough idle and stall at a light.
Yes.
check to see if a/c compressor is locked up.
When a Chrysler Sebring is stalling it is possible that poor gasoline has been used. It is also possible that the car needs the spark plugs replaced.
I ow a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country. I have many electrical issues. But, mine will stall in the middle of the road sometimes. There is an engine fuse (20)amp, in the main fuse box to the right of the engine. This has blown on many occassions. You could start there.
Yes. It's the fifth stall that's impossible.
It could be a couple of things. First start with changing your fuel filter 2. maybe a fuel injector is clogged up 3.the only other thing just off the top of my ol' nogging is a idle control valve. Hope it may help!! PS, it might be running out of gas, just kidding, need a little laugh now and then.
A problem in the fuel line could cause it to stall. On a stick shift, letting off the clutch too soon would cause the vehicle to stall.
Start and stall out, possibly. Not start at all, not likely.
It can if it sticks open at idle.
My guess would be that your FUEL PUMP is going bad. When a fule pump goes bad the car will stall and or start to run rough. Hope this helps. I have all Chrysler cars and this has been my expeirence on them.
Another possibility is loose or corroded wiring connections.
