What makes a good belief or bad belief?

Honestly people will believe what they think is right, and even though the intention was right harm can still come of it. look at Hitler what he was doing was what he thought was right, obviously it wasn't. every one somewhere in history has done something they thought was right or a good belief but was bad. the Australians took the aboriginals children from them, the Americans killed the Indians. They thought it was a good belief but it wasn't. the point I'm trying to make is even though you think it's right it may not be. Always be open to speculation, we can be blinded by what we think is right.
