its hard for Sony to let down their customers as they have built extremely good repetition with customers as well as working with other companies such as Panasonic and Toshiba for development in future technology.

Software made Microsoft successful and a big company as sometimes considered as the richest, however, they lack in quality, customer satisfaction, they are following other companies to dominate everything as they cannot think for them selves to fill gaps in the market and have many other issues.

whereas, Sony may not be the biggest but they they have invented a large number of technology (not just software) or somin that breaks all the time.
