Removal of the battery cable
Depending where the loose connection is i.e. battery cable, stater feed, solenoid, ignition switch etc.
Disconnect the negative cable.
The car will stop if the battery cable comes loose.

if your talking about the needle on the speedometer, disconnect the battery again and it should go back around to the right spot for some reason when they get juice from the battery they jump backwards , try this it worked on mine when i put the battery cable back on i dont immediately start it , i wait for the needle to go down to the bottom before starting , hope it works for you
