The term Hottentot refers to an ancient South African people, also known by the less derogatory name of Khoi khoi, that have almost been bred out of existence as an unmixed group. They were primarily known for their exaggerated sexural organs(in males the penis, which hung in an arching fashion, was very large in proportion to their bodies and was called the Hottentot Apron), their slanted eye appearance(epicantic fold) and yellowish brown appearance. They are believed to be the forerunners to the Mongoloid branch of the human race. Because of their exaggerated sexual organs, the females were reveared by outsiders and the men were often feared.
