Imagine the opponent clears your defenses and inflicts battle damage to you with it. In your next turn, you need to be able to defend from it again with the cards you have in hand - because you don't get to draw. Imagine if you've now got no way to stop it? The other player will keep drawing though.
Since it returns to hand at the end of the turn, it's safe from many forms of destruction. Plus there were also combos with it - such as having Witch of the Black Forest on the field and summoning Chaos Emperor Dragon. CED would clear both fields and both hands. Witch of the Black Forest would search for Yata Garasu, who'd then attack the opponent. The opponent has nothing left, and can no longer draw. Yata Garasu's player can keep summoning it and attacking - but will also be drawing cards so can shorten the length of the game with special summon cards.
yata garasu
Cause Death
Yes, i think its a spirit type monster.
No, and it quite clearly says on the card that it cannot be Special Summoned. That counts for anywhere.
definetly yata garasu.. i mean you can completley shut down your opponents deck
There are in fact three cards like Yata-Garasu. The first is Time Seal, a Trap that skipped your opponent's next Draw Phase. This card was banned a while back because of its brokenness with Makyura the Destructor. Soul Devouring Bamboo Sword is another card, that only works when you control a "Broken Bamboo Sword". It only lasts for 2 turns. The last card is Fenrir, which Special Summons itself by removing from play 2 WATER monsters in your Graveyard. Its effect is almost identical to that of Yata-Garasu, skipping your opponent's Draw Phase when you inflict battle damage with it.
Yes there is, Its a spirit monster called "Yata Garasu" one star/winged beast/ATK200/DEF200/WIND it is restricted and not allowed to be played in any deck though
In a competitive Yata Lock Deck for the 2017 format, key strategies include using cards like Sangan, Witch of the Black Forest, and Mystic Tomato to search for Yata-Garasu and Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End. Other important card choices include cards that can disrupt your opponent's plays, such as Trap Dustshoot and Mind Crush. Additionally, cards like Dimension Fusion and Return from the Different Dimension can help you bring back banished monsters for powerful combos.
No you should use PQPA a method that means that part of the question is in part of the answer. IN stead of me saying NO to your question i would say NO, answering a question with a yes or no is not a good way to answer because ... and yata yata yata. U get the point.
