People feel loved the most, when the other person loves them the way they need to be loved. You may think, flowers and candy will make someone feel loved, but they may actually feel loved, when you just do the dishes and clean the house. You may think it's telling them how beautiful they are, but to some people that doesn't mean much, for them it may be respecting them, and speaking positively to them or about them in front of others that makes them feel loved. Or perhaps it's that you knew her shoe size, or that you prepared his favorite dish. Maybe you think it's talking a lot about everything, and your partner feels loved by being granted a quiet space to think or read a book. Don't assume that what makes you or the general population feel loved, will be the same for your partner. It's really about learning and paying attention to the hints of what it is that makes your partner feel loved.
