Blood is always red, whether it is oxygenated or not. It is a myth that blood turns red when exposed to oxygen.
What makes blood red? Blood is actually a transparent (clear) fluid that contains cells inside. There are white cells which 'heals your body' in a certain case. And also red cells, their job is to transport oxygen to lung tissue and get rid of waste such as carbon dioxide.
EXAMPLE: If you scrape your knee on concrete, you start bleeding (within reason) and red cells rush out of your body. Red cells are magnified 10,000 times to see them visibly. Our eyes, unable to actually see the little cells cant tell that they actually are cells. These red cells are also known as "Blood Cells".
Key words:
Blood is actually a clear fluid, but the cells are red
Red cells are magnified 10,000 times
Red cells are called Blood Cells
White cells heal your body
Red blood cells
transport oxygen to lung tissue and get rid of waste such as carbon dioxide.

When the blood leaves your body, the oxygen on the outside of your body turns it red.

It doesn't turn red on leaving your body. It's already read: lighter red when rich in oxygen (being carried in the arteries), darker when it's given up its oxygen load to the cells it is supporting.
Split blood eventually oxidises to brown or black.
it comes in contact with oxygen when exposed to the alveoli/capillary beds of the lung. same thing when you are cut and bleed. the blood turns very red due to the oxygen reaction with blood components.

It turns from oxygenated blood to deoxygenated blood. The tissues absorb the oxygen that your red blood cells carry through diffusion through the capillary membranes. When the oxygen is gone, the blood is considered "deoxygenated."
In the blood - which circulates all around the body through a network of arteries and veins.
The Heat is the pump that circulates blood through the body.
it circulates through the body after the the muscles contract
The cardiovascular system sends oxygen rich blood through out the body.
It is oxygenated as it passes through the lungs. The rest of the body deoxygenates it.
Blood, gets its colour from the pigments of its various components.
As it gives out oxegen it looses the bright red
the heart is good for pumping blood through out the body to all of your veins so your blood circulates and keeps you alive.
