makes you feel good
Yes, its a new manafacturer as of 2012 that makes it. It is 10mg of hydrocodone and 650mg of acetemetaphin.
Depends on previous doses of opiates. Someone with say, an 80mg Oxycodone tolerance would consider 160mg a strong dose of hydro, but someone with no opiate tolerance may find 20mg a strong dose.
Acceptance and tolerance
You should not be taking hydrocodone with tramadol(Ultram), hydrocodone(Vicodin)is an MU agonist, tramadol is a partial MU agonist, if you build any kind of a tolerance with the hydrocodone and then take tramadol(50mg)it will/can initiate opiate withdrawl syndrome almost instantly! You'll be very, very unhappy if this were to occur.
It all depends on the person; whether their tolerance for opiates is low, high, or non-existent. Judging by the fact that you are asking this question, I would guess that you have no tolerance to opiates, so the smallest amount possible should be used (preferably none). Tolerance is built by repeatedly consuming opiates (heroin, hydrocodone, oxycodone, meperidine, morphine, etc) for a period of time. Eventually your tolerance will increase and it will require more and more of the same chemical to reach the desired effect.
Nope! Codeine and hydrocodone are two different meds. The nausea and side affects make you throw up alot more with codeine, even though its the hydrocodone that is a stronger pain killer.
For people with no tolerance to opiates whatsoever should start out with taking one 5/3255mg pill. Then take another two hours later if it doesnt work.
Taking uppers and downers together can give you a heart attack. Taking uppers (cocaine) and two downers (alcohol and hydrocodone) increases the risk.
It just depends on the tolerance u have for Lortabs. I've been taking lortab 10 for years so I wouldn't even feel a 5 but when I first started taking Lortab/hydrocodone then a 5 would have made me feel pretty darn good. Lol
Hydrocodone is the generic name for Vicodin with Tylenol. It is a narcotic analgesic that also contains acetaminophen. Strengths may vary, such as 2.5/500, 5/500, 7.5/500, etc, with the first number being the amount of Vicodin, and the second number being the amount of acetaminophen. AN AMENDMENT! Hydrocodone is not the generic name for Vicodin. It is the name of one of the two active ingredients found in Vicodin which always consists of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is the generic name for Tylenol. Generic name for Vicodin is hydrocodone/acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is an opioid analgetic. Acetaminophen is a milder pain reliever and fever reducer which increases analgetic effects of hydrocodone in Vicodin. Hydrocodone is the chemical. Vicodin, norco, Percocet are brand names. Like Band-aid is a brand of bandages.
Roxicodone 30 contains 30mg of oxycodone and is an instant release pill. OxyContin comes in various strengths and is time released over 12 hours. If you have a tolerance to 10mg hydrocodone, a 30mg Roxicodone pill would still be way too strong. Oxycodone is 1.5x stronger than hydrocodone to begin with so a Roxicodone 30mg pill would be equal to about 4 and a half of the pills you are taking now. Oxycontin is prescribed for chronic pain because useres only have to take 2 pills a day for all day pain relief.
