As population increases,the demand for the basic needs of people also increases.Hence,people make artificial ecosystem to be able to meet their needs.

Unlike the natural biomes,man-made ecosystems need human inputs to maintain balance.Many things have to be done to maintain their stability.They need to be controlled and managed to be able to produce the expected yield.Artificial ecosystems apply techniques that have been researched,studied,and tested in laboratories.Thus,a lot of energy,not to mention money,is spent.
