The Basilidians believed that it was Simon of Cyrene who took the sufferings and was crucified for Jesus.
Barabas
There was no pilot who crucified Jesus. The man responsible for sentencing Jesus to his crucifixion was the Roman governor of Judea Pontius Pilate. Although he did not believe that Jesus deserved to be crucified, the people demanded it and he complied. However, after he allowed it, he washed his hands, symbolizing that he did not want to be acknowledged as the man responsible for Jesus' death.
Im not sure maybe god but when he was crucified then it was a man called pontius pilate who got him crucified
No Jesus when crucified took the sins of Man to Sheol(grave).Jesus/God can not be in hell for Godis Holy and cannot be in the presence of Sin.
The Bible gives no names to the two men who were crucified with Jesus. The Bible does give a little information on both of the men.The first man asked Jesus, "If you are who you claim that you are. Why don't you free yourself and us?"The second man told the first man, "Have you have no fear of God? This man did nothing wrong. We deserve to die for our crimes."Then, the second man on his cross, requested of Jesus, "Please remember me when you enter into you Kingdom."Jesus replied to the second man, "From this day, you shall be with me in paradise."Jesus was crucified between two robbers (thieves), one on the right and another on the left.Good Answer! But You left out that the thief on the right listened to what Jesus had to say and he asked if He was really The Messiah and Jesus answered yes, the man on the left said to the man on the right, don't listen to this it is a lie, but the man on the right didn't listen and accepted Jesus right then and Jesus said to him, you will be with Me in paradise!I like to give people a little more information than they ask for! sorry!
You'll need to be more specific to find the verse of what you are looking for because Jesus is explaining things to thousands of men and women before he was crucified. 'What was being explained' would be a helpful question to start with.
Jesus and Moses were two different people. Jesus is the Son of God that was crucified to take the sins of the whole world. Moses was a prophet and a man who lead Israel out of captivity in Egypt.
the good thief was Dismas and the bad thief was GestasAnswerThey were crucified in the same way as Jesus. After being properly scourged they were nailed to their crosses. No pain and humiliation was saved to them. Dismas' cross was put on the right side of Jesus, while Gestas was crucified on Jesus' left. However, scripture does not name them and any names ascribed to them were later inventions.
