Yep! The transmissions are completely interchangeable.
The type of transmission that is compatible with a 1994 Chevy is going to depend on the model. Every model has a specific motor which requires a specific type of transmission.
Most manual transmissions use 80W90 gear oil. To be sure, check your owners manual. I have seen one use 30w motor oil.

If by "Civic transmission" you mean a D-series transmission then no, it is not compatible with the B-series engine. If the Civic has a B-series transmission then, oviously, it will work. All 5-speed B-series transmissions are compatible with all B-series engines.
I have a 1993 Chevy S-10 Pick up truck, with a 2.5 V6 motor and 5 speed manual transmission.. I need to know what years will interchange with the transmission
you will need to compare the engine code stamped on the engine block, and then you will need a book/manual that will tell you if they are compatible or not.
there should be a pipe plug fitting on top or near the top of the transaxle... Motor oil? no, check with a Honda manual, or contact the dealer to find out the specific fluid requirements, most manual transmissions use 80-90w gear fluid...
depends but transmissions are flexible- in a sense
