Commercial 95 Shade cloth is a HDPE (high density polyethylene) that is lock stitched knitted into a mesh fabric. This seems to provide a better choice, and is less expensive. In the dog days of summer, when the wind doesn't blow, the heat will dissipate up and thru this fabric. It is made by Synthesis Fabrics and is used all over the world. It too claims 95-98% UV Blockage.
