i want to be a pediatrician too. i think accounts and ecconomics are most unnessesary. i believe major mathes, for the addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are nessesary. the thing about it is that we need to change temperatures etc. we need maths, but if you do maths till about grade 10 the rest of your focus should be on Biology, chemistry ect. not nerssesarily maths.
Pediatricians need to use math for many things. For example, in medicine, calculations are done using the metric system, so pediatricians need to know how to convert measurements. Also, to give out dosages, they need to use math. Body mass index is also another reason they need math. Many more things have math involved.
A pediatrician has to prescribe medications for children. It is very important that the dosages be appropriate for the child's age and/or body weight. A pediatrician must be able to calculate these dosages accurately, to prevent overdosing or underdosing the child. Mathematics is necessary for this.
Well a pediatrician is a person who is a doctor, certified to attend to sick children. Well math is something needed to complete your every day life , like a need. Don't limit your options by dropping math. A doctor needs math to calculate medicne required for the patients, to calculate the costs of usage of equipment and etc.
You need to graduate college and then go to medical school.
In order to get into college you need algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
Most people also take calculus and/or statistics.
Then, once in college you need a year of calculus.
My advice as a pediatrician and mathematician is to take algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trig, calculus x 3 semesters, and statistics.
For those that like math, linear algebra is a great class to take too.
Pre-med coursework requires, at least, precalculus, but usually coursework in calculus is expected. For pediatric work, algebra is frequently employed in order to calculate medication doses and other tasks.
take lots of science and math classes take four years of community or university college and four years of meical schooling.
yes becoming a pediatrician does require math because of the science that they need to learn to measure the things the child needs
Nothing. Let him be responsible for his own math, don't let him con you,
and go ahead and report him to the county board. The nerve !
to measure results
Any career that is not just tedious repetitive tasks will inevitably require the use of math.
Yes, they both used math. Most things in science require math.
To get into medical school you will need an A-level in MATH or PHYSICS. Pediatrics, like any speciality in medicine uses math on a daily basis for example: -Measuring drug dosage -Monitoring growth and many more things.
see wikipedia
That is because you will use a lot of math for sciences. If you don't know math well, you will have trouble following the different subjects. Several high-school math subjects require at least Algebra 1, college courses require much more advanced math.
My son was sick so I took him to his pediatrician.
besides just counting bills all day what other math besides basic math do u require when working at a bank?
Engineering is basically applied science, and many scientific areas require math. (You might also say, "by definition": if an area of work doesn't include lots of science and math, then it wouldn't be called "Engineering".)
this is the symbol
They all use math because mathis in our everyday lives and in engineering programs you need to calculate different equations
You must complete any high school required Math. This math will help you solve complex cases that have to do with time and that may require you to multiple, divide and even use equations
