9th grade math can vary throughout high schools in different places.Most schools have Algebra I as the standard math course.Some high schools offer more advanced classes for smarter people, and offer courses for 9th graders that are meant for 10th or 11th grade students. This means that some schools offer geometry, and even sometimes Algebra II/Trigonometry.
GED classes are often held at local high schools. Attending one of these classes would be a good starting point for getting math worksheets to assist in passing the GED examination.

I believe the question was not what is taught now, but rather what type of math classes were required in the 1950's .
If you are still in high school there aren't many classes that apply. Some schools have classes for nurse assistants that could apply. You will need your math and science classes. Most EMTs get training through fire departments or with a community college coursework.
