The math needed in college should not be a problem if you have a solid math background from high school. The problem is getting into a Marine Biology program at a good school in the first place. To do that will require an excellent showing on the SAT, because you will be competing with the best and the brightest for a limited number of slots. Doing well on the SAT means being very comfortable with math up through Algebra II. It would be better if you could get through Trig and Calculus in high school, which would mean taking Algebra II in 10th grade. Hope this helps, and good luck!
Many ways. One of the big ones is measurements. I suggest if u really want to figure out, take biology.
possibly, but in marine biology you would need a greater understanding of math than fractions.
With my studies as a marine bioligist, marine bioligy relates to science by studying the anatomy and form of the marine life... It also has to do with math, but mainly science... Hope this helps someone! :-)
marine biology is technological because marine biologists use technology in their everyday job to help with their work for instance they use submarines and telescopes and computers all of this is technological use.
The first degree you would get to become a marine biologist is a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, or a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Biology. for further degrees you would need to go to graduate school to get your Masters in Marine Biology.

You might be thinking of marine zoology, which is a branch of marine biology. It (marine zoology) deals with the "critters" or creatures or animals in the marine environment. Certainly at the very "end" of the scale of marine creatures are living things that might be either animal or plant in nature. We usually see the more general term marine biologist in use to define someone who works in this area, and then a specialty under that umbrella.
Marine biology is the scientific study of the biology of marine life, organisms in the sea.
When you want to describe something about the ocean. For example, "marine biology" is a branch of biology that focuses on sea life.

A degree in marine biology or general biology.

Yes, marine biology is a specialized division of biology which is the study of life.

I assume you mean a marine biologist. You need a degree in marine biology. This means you will probably have to go to a school near the ocean. You can get basic classes in biology, math and chemistry at any college but you will have to transfer to a college that offers such a degree later. If you are in high-school take classes in chemistry and biology and some math as preparation for such a degree. Also many jobs in marine biology involve some scuba diving and snorkeling so you will eventually need to learn these skills as well.
