What may cause vibration 2000 Cherokee with 3 inch rough country lift kit?

Drive line vibration, it is possible that your drive shaft/axle are now out of alignment which would cause the vibration. I have the same problem with a 2 inch lift in a 98 Cherokee. I am going to try 2 inch shims (there angled i.e. little triangles) that fit on top of the axle between it and the leaf spring. Hopefully it will fix the problem.

check your distributor for corrosion, this can cause alot of problems with rough idle, poor gas milage, unstable throttle response. very common in 4.3 L. Look for oxidation under cap.

I doubt it is a transmission problem. It sounds like the engine is in need of some attention maybe even some motor mounts.
