Well the oceanic plate is usually lower than the continental plate so i think the ocianic plate will smash upward. I may be wrong...
When oceanic lithosphere and continental lithosphere collide, the continental lithosphere may be obducted over the oceanic lithosphere or the oceanic lithosphere may be subducted under the continental lithosphere. The latter is thought to be more common. This subduction and obduction generally results in tectonic activity such as volcanoes and earthquakes.
Subduction (where one plate is forced beneath another less dense plate - may occur at oceanic-oceanic and oceanic-continental boundaries), obduction (where oceanic plate is forced over a continental plate) and orogenesis where two continental plates collide and mountains are formed (e.g. the Himalayas).
When oceanic plates collide with continental plates, the denser oceanic plate is subducted beneath the lighter continental plate. This process leads to the formation of deep ocean trenches and volcanic arcs on the continental side. Additionally, intense seismic activity and mountain building may occur along the boundary.

The intense pressure and friction between the plates push the crust upwards, resulting in the formation of large fold mountains such as the Himalayas. This collision can also trigger earthquakes and volcanic activity along the plate boundaries.
The oceanic plate (sea-floor plate) is denser than the continental plate, so the oceanic plate will be pulled under the continental plate (subduction) and into the upper mantle, creating an underwater volcano.

At a convergent boundary, typically an oceanic lithosphere collides with either another oceanic lithosphere or continental lithosphere. When an oceanic plate meets a continental plate, the denser oceanic plate subducts beneath the continental plate, leading to the formation of deep ocean trenches and volcanic arcs. If two oceanic plates collide, one may subduct beneath the other, resulting in the creation of island arcs.
Many ways, really. For example, a continental plate may be submerging underneath another continental plate (a boundary interaction often associated with volcanoes), and in the process, that continental plate that is being submerged, often the ocean floor, changes into metamorphic rock, and if subjected to enough pressure and heat, may become igneous. Or, if two continental plates collide where one plate used to be ocean floor, such as with the Himalayan Mountains, the two plates would jam together. In between these plates, there may be enough heat and pressure to change the sedimentary rock into metamorphic rock.
