I do not know of any special meaning for the number 300; but it occurs in the Bible 61 times, and only 2 of these in the New Testament.
In The Bible, the number 300 is associated with Gideon's army. In Judges 7, Gideon is told by God to reduce his army from thousands to just 300 men. With this small group, they were able to defeat a much larger enemy force. The number 300 is often seen as a symbolic representation of God's power and ability to achieve victory with a smaller, faithful group.
