What type of human foods can you feed your pregnant cat?

You should never feed your cat anything that isn't professionally made for cats. It is specifically unhealthy to feed sick, pregnant, or nursing cats food that was not meant for them. Stick to high quality cat food, as this will give the pregnant cat all the nutrients she needs. Look for foods that are high in meat (listed as Chicken, Turkey, Fish etc), while keeping away from by-products and "meat meals". Grains, corn, wheat glutens, food colourings and additives should also be avoided. Canned food which is high in meat and free in grains are much easier to find than dry food with the same specifications.
