Sexual reproduction is most likely to increase genetic diversity.
Generally, a low rate of evolution.

There are several mechanisms for evolution. The first (and most important) being natural selection, which plays off random mutations. Genetic drift is also another important aspect of evolution. EDIT: It depends on what you mean by "mechanism." Mutations are thought to be the mechanism that causes the change in DNA, then natural selection and Gentic drift take over. Unfortunately, mutations do not hold up and evolution is ultimately left without a mechanism. This article on mutations gives an indepth explanation http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/wow/are-mutations-the-engine STRAIT FROM THE BIOLOGY BOOK :)
Advantage: No new cells but genes are combined - an increase of genetic diversity, therefore good for evolution!! Two new organisms are genetically identical and share the common ways to survive in the same environment which can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on the types of characteristics the organism had.
If everything is exactly the same, there is a lower chance of evolution occurring; diversity is not necessary, but it works quicker. This is because where random mutation is the only thing to introduce wider genetic diversity, it will take a longer time than simply mixing the gene pool up.
Genetic diversity
Sexual reproduction is most likely to increase genetic diversity.
False, was.
Generally, a low rate of evolution.
increase
That answer is false it does not provide gentic diversity.
Yes
The main driving mechanism of evolution is natural selection. Though genetic drigt and gene flow can also cause evolution.
A mechanism (most common) of natural selection where overall genetic diversity decreases due to particular trait or genotype getting 'fixed' into the population. It is usually represented as a parabola on a graph.
