ou can use SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards with this camcorder
Rather than storing all of the files to an internal hard drive a flash memory camcorder is a camcorder that stores all of it's files on a memory card.
An major advantage of a flash memory camcorder is the easiness of sharing videos online. The memory is stored on a removable memory card. It is easy to remove the card and transfer data to your computer. The hard drive in a camcorder has a very large memory capacity. You can record over the hard drive many times without losing quality.
You can get a larger-capacity flash card. A 32 GB card should hold several hours of movies, when properly compressed by your camcorder.
Flash Camcorders are camcorders which record video onto flash memory instead of a video tape. The flash memory can be a removable memory card (SDHC, Memory Stick, xD), or it can be built-in memory which is not removable. Some camcorders like the Canon HF S10 have both removable memory and built-in memory. Removable memory is generally better in a flash camcorder because when you fill the memory, you can record more by inserting an empty memory card. Whereas with built-in you have to move the videos onto a computer before recording more video. See related links for a list of flash camcorders.
The camcorder which has the most built in memory would be the Vixia HF which has a built in memory card and also holds the most memory for a camcorder .

A 2 second search (literally !) on the internet for the model number told me it uses either SD or SD-HC memory cards ! See related link for one example of about 1.5 MILLION web-sites selling the memory card.
That you will have to hook up a cable to get the pictures out of the camera since the 'memory card' is built in. There is no place to insert a standard memory card.
