This is the day that the Lord hath made and I will be exceedingly glad!

sinners call it drop out Christians and the lord call it saved!
"Lord, forgive us! we're sinners all!"
Life in 1010 a.d. was exceedingly difficult for most people, since people could expect to die before they turned 40. Most people engaged in farming, and worked hard to provide for their Lord and their families.
That is a very debatable question. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of the great amount of sin found in those cities. "But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD." Genesis 13:13 (NKJV) "For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD and the LORD has sent us to destroy it." Genesis 19:13 (NKJV) And amongst all those sins we find that homosexuality was very popular in these cities. Genesis 19:5 " And they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came with you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally." (NKJV)
John was the repeater of the sinners. He was the prelude to the coming of Jesus Christ the son of God. He was a Herald telling people of the Lord's coming.
The Lord was sad that his people were sinning so much that they were not going to join him in heaven. The Lord, being gracious and full of compassion, sacrificed his son so that people could join him in heaven, even though they were sinners.
assuming it is a biblical quote, it will mean god hates the thoughts of evil people
As seen in its translation, it contrasts the behavior and the outcome of those who serve God, and those who sin. 1 Happy is the man that has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor stood in the path of the sinners, nor sat in the presence of the mockers. 2 Rather, his delight is in the Torah of the Lord; and in His Torah he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, and whose leaves do not wither; and in whatever he does he shall prosper. 4 Not so the wicked, who are like the chaff which the wind pushes away. 5 Therefore the wicked shall not survive [God's] judgment, nor shall sinners [remain] in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord regards the way of the righteous; but the way of the wicked shall perish. According to tradition, King David gave us the Book of Psalms. Seventy-three of the 150 bear his name, and tradition states that the unattributed ones are also from him (Talmud, Berakhot 9b). Concerning those Psalms that have the names of other authors, tradition teaches that we may thank David for them too (Talmud, Bava Bathra 14b). This is because it was he who recorded them in their permanent form and in a single book. If not for King David, those Psalms would have gone lost. See also the Related Links.
It's in the Holy Bible, it says: In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain. 2 For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. 3 When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do [a] ?" 4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them. 5 The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked [b] and those who love violence his soul hates. 6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face
Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:161 Kings 13:6 Then the king said to the man of God, "Intercede with the LORD your God and pray for me that my hand may be restored." So the man of God interceded with the LORD, and the king's hand was restored and became as it was before.John 9:31 "We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him
