Really powerful magnets are alloys or in some cases not even metals (they're minerals like metal oxides). Iron is one of the better "pure" metals.

In alloy or oxide magnets, the metals themselves don't even have to be ferromagnetic; an alloy of aluminium, cobalt, and iron was discovered in 1931 to make far better magnets than iron itself did, even though aluminium is not ferromagnetic at all.

the magnet it could stick together becaus esomehow the metal attracts the magnet and it makes pulls the metal material and stick to it

Are electromagnets weaker than permanets magnets?

Not necessarily. electromagnets can be extremely powerful, capable of lifting tons of metal.

What is the ability to attract metal things?

Magnetism in the name for metals attracting to each other. Magnets draw other metals and magnets to themselves. It is a powerful bond that can hold something in between the magnets and still hold a connection.

Are all magnets metal?

Not all magnets are made of metal. There are various types of magnets, including ceramic magnets (made of ferrite), neodymium magnets (made of neodymium, iron, and boron), and even electromagnetic magnets that are not made of metal.

Are magnets metal?

No, magnets are not metal. Magnets are objects that produce a magnetic field, which can attract or repel certain types of metals, but they are typically made from materials like iron, nickel, or cobalt.

What makes a refrigerator a magnet?

The refrigerator isn't actually a magnet, it it simply made of metal which magnets can then stick to.

What is inside magnets?

There is nothing inside magnets. The solid metal has magnetic properties due to it's molecular make up. Magnets are commonly made of iron, but there are more powerful magnets, made from alloys of rare earth metals. The magnetic fiels surround the whole magnetic object.
