HI there 5 millimeters is metric you could step up to
6 millimeters that is; one quarter inch.
A 1/4 inch bit will do it.
I use 6mm for 6mm, but if you don't have a metric set, 1/4 inch is only very slightly bigger.
Use a standard HSS drill bit, but slow down rotation to about 500 rpm.
You need a diamond tipped drill bit to drill glass or tile.
For hanging hooks, the best type of drill bit to use is a masonry drill bit.
