Ok pal,
I'm not sure what you mean but here goes some facts that may answer your question.
Darwin studied turtles on the Galapagos Islands. Some turtles had grooves in their shell, just above their necks which allowed them to reach foliage above them. As the foliage close to the ground started to disappear turtles with the grooves survived by eating foliage that was higher and survived and those without the grooves died out. This is how Darwin developed his theory of Evolution. He also studied finches and their variations in the different Galapagos Islands.
Foliage: plant growth, leaves, stuff like that.
Darwin used a tree as a model for the evolution of animals to represent the divergence of species from a common ancestor. Just as branches on a tree diverge from a common trunk, species evolve and diverge from a common ancestor through natural selection and adaptation. This visual representation helped illustrate the concept of common ancestry and the branching of species over time.
Charles Darwin used Natural Selection to answer the survival of the fittest.

No. In fact, it was only after Darwin had already published his model that we began to have some understanding of the geological and physical processes that allow us to accurately date the Earth.
Charles Darwin was not an inventor. He was a scientist that created the theory of evolution, which is one of the most accepted human creation ideas.
