I do not know of any snowmobiles that have a button like that. They all have a kill switch that shuts the engine down, and if you push it while under higher rpm's and release it, than there is a chance for backfire.

John Deere stopped making snowmobiles for two reason: one, the direct drive system did not stand up to it's competitors, and two John Deere did not make enough money off of them.
Talk to repair shops about owners that might have used snowmobiles for sale. Dealers may have information on used vehicles for sale by private owners as well. Keep an eye out for notices on bulletin boards in the area. Craig's List is also a good source for used snowmobiles, but make sure you see the item in person. Never wire money for such a transaction.
