Steven Moffett who will be lead writer of series 5 is keeping quiet about which monsters will appear, although he did say he will be bringing new creatures into the programme and that there will be a lot to look forward to. The episodes for series 5 are not comfirmed and probably not all completely written yet so no other information is available.
These are the monsters in Series Five: Sillurians, Vampires, Daleks, A Silent Menace (name is unknown) The series finale features shots taken at night at STONEHENGE. Daleks are rumoured to be in the finale, like Series One, there was a single Dalek episode, then there was a two parter. I don't think this rumour is true. This is now confirmed. They will return in the two-part finale, with the (confirmed) CYBERMEN.
The monsters and aliens that featured in Series 5 (2010) of Doctor Who were:
Prisoner Zero and the Atraxi (The Eleventh Hour)
Smilers and a Star Whale (The Beast Below)
Daleks (Victory of the Daleks)
The Weeping Angels (The Time of Angels, Flesh and Stone)
Saturnynians (Vampire-like creatures) (Vampires of Venice)
The Dream Lord (a result of psychic pollen) and Eknodine (Amy's Choice)
Silurians, (The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood)
A Krafaysis, (Vincent and the Doctor)
Number 79B, Aickman Road - a timeship of an unknown origin, (The Lodger)
The Alliance (a group of the Doctor's enemies formed to stop the Doctor himself from destroying the universe)(The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang)
