Two TermsGrover Cleveland was the only President to be elected to two non-consecutive terms as President. In 1884 Grover Cleveland was elected as the 22nd President of the United States and served from March 4, 1885 to March 4, 1889. his Vice President was Thomas Hendricks in 1885. On November 25, 1885 eight month into his term Hendricks died, and the Vice Presidency was vacant for the rest of Cleveland's first term. In 1888 he was defeated by The 23rd President of the United States Benjamin Harrison. He won the election in 1892 to become the 24th President of the United States from March 4, 1893 to March 4, 1897. His Vice President was Adlai E. Stevenson.

Frances Cleveland. In 1886 she married Grover Cleveland in the blue room of the white house. She was 21. The president was 49 at the time. The president had previously acted as a "dad" to her after her father died.

There have been two Presidents named Harrison. The first, William Henry, only served for about a month before he died of pneumonia. The second, Benjamin, served one full 4-year term. Benjamin Harrison's term came between Grover Cleveland's first and second terms (B. Harrison was the 23rd President, and Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President).
