I believe when it is written, it is normally written in the Devanagari script, the same one that Hindi is written in. But in Pakistan, it would most likely be written in the same script as Urdu, which is very similar to Arabic. Perhaps it would be better to ask how the word "friends" looks in Sanskrit. Sanskrit is an ancient Indian language in which many Hindu religious texts are written; in modern times it uses the Devanagari script, which is also used for some modern languages of India.
You don't write India in "Hindu" as the word Hindu actually represents a person belonging to Hindu religion but rather in HINDI which is the predominant language of Hindus. So, in Hindi, India is called BHARAT in Devanagari Script used to write Hindi. India is also called HINDUSTAN in Urdu language - a legacy of Mughal rulers over India for many centuries.SandyKSam
