The Karakoram is also home to many of the world’s largest glaciers, including the Biafo Glacier and the Baltoro Glacier. The Hindukush mountain range is located in the extreme north of Pakistan, just south of the Karakoram. This range is much smaller than the Himalayas and the Karakoram, but it still boasts some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the country. The Hindukush range is home to Tirich Mir (7,708 m), the highest peak in the range. In total, there are three separate mountain systems in Pakistan - the Himalayas, the Karakoram, and the Hindukush. Each of these ranges is home to some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world and is an integral part of Pakistan’s beauty and geography.
