in the second bleach movie hitsugaya is supposed to be guarding the king's seal...the king's seal was attacked forcing hitsugaya into battle with his academy friend Sōjirō Kusaka, who is trying to steal the seal to gain power over hitsugaya's zanpactou Hyourinmaru. He thought that kusaka died, because both hitsugaya and kusaka had the same zanpactou, which is considered taboo by the soul society, they had to fight till the death which never got finished because the soul society killed kusaka because hitsugaya had more control over hyourinmaru...kusaka was then reincarnated in hueco mundo then came back to try and get complete control over hyourinmaru, kusaka got his fight to the death with hitsugaya, which hitsugaya won by stabbing kusaka, causing him to freeze and shatter making hitsugaya the rightful possessor of hyourinmaru. sorry if it's bad it's my first one that's what i got from watching the movie
