smart alloy or pollymer but think its smart
smart alloy
When something is malleable it means that it is able to be deformed (usually into thin sheets) by hitting it or rolling it. An example of a reasonably malleable metal is steel - it can be hammered into shape or rolled to become thinner.
Being different and first to do something.
It means being happy!
A smart alloy, also called a shape memory alloy, returns to its original shape when heated. They can be used to make solid-state actuators and have numerous applications in the medical and aerospace industries.=== === a normal alloy (like steel) with special qualities. they can bend back into their original shape after being bent. They are used in medical operations and dental braces. They are newly developed so are quite expensive. What is an alloy?Pure metals are too soft for many uses. To make metals harder we mix them together to make alloys. Useful alloys include:-the copper alloys, bronze and brass-steel, which is an alloy of iron, other metals and the non-metallic element carbon.
Magnetization does not affect the mass of the material being magnetized. All the magnetizing field does is align the magnetic domains of the material being magnetized. No matter or mass is added, or "created out of energy" or the like. Nothing changes except the orientation of magnetic domains within the material being magnetized.
elastic
elastic
elastic deformation
Elasticity is the ability of a material to return to its original shape after being deformed. It is not a form of energy. Mechanical energy is needed to deform the material which stores this partially as potential (mechanical) energy, some is transformed to heat energy, which dissipates, and some is lost to entropy, as in all energy conversions. When the potential (mechanical) energy is released it can be used to drive an electrical generator to produce electricity, until the material returns to its original shape.
If you stretch a rubber band then release it, it will return to its original shape. That is by definition elastic strain. Anything that returns to its original shape after being affected by force underwent elastic strain. If it is permanently deformed (ie you bent a paperclip out of place and it wont return to its original shape) then it passes the elastic strain region and suffered plastic strain.
Elasticity describes the ability of a solid to return to its original shape after being deformed or stretched.
A shape memory alloy (SMA, smart metal, memory alloy, muscle wire, smart alloy) is an alloy that "remembers" its original, cold, forged shape, and which returns to that shape after being deformed by applying heat. This material is a lightweight, solid state alternative to conventional actuators such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor-based systems. Shape memory alloys have applications in industries including medical and aerospace.
SMA stands for Shaped Memory Alloys. SMA have the property of "remembering" a shape even after being mechanically deformed. After deformation applied heat restores the material to its original shape. An SMA actuator uses this property of the the material to initiate some kind of mechanical motion. A typical application is a spring that once heated pushes on an assembly to make a subsequent motion happen.
Because polymers are formed. Polymers have strong covalent bonds. A strong covalent bond increases viscosity and the material will resist being deformed.
Elastic substances return to their original shape after being deformed. Hooke's Law tells us that the force an elastic object, such as a spring, uses to reinstate itself to an original length is relative to, but in the opposite direction, of the length the spring is stretched.
Hephaestus was described as being exceedingly ugly and deformed.
Mewtwo Strikes Back, is the original, and first movie within the Pokemon series. Mewtwo returns is technically the sequel to Mewtwo Strikes back, being the second movie(?) starring Mewtwo.
