Any new Oil from your local auto parts store will do, IE Pennzoil, Valvoline, Castrol. All motor oils have to pass the same qualifications to receive the API certification. To view what the API symbol looks like go to http://www.aa1car.com/library/api_motor_oil_classifications.htm and click on the "click here" next to the phrase "

To view the current API rating system" if it has that symbol brand shouldn't matter. What is important is the viscosity. IE 5w30, 10w30, 5w20 etc... I use a 5w30 in the winter and the summer. I would suggest an API certified brand, any of the brands i mentioned are certified and a 5w30 viscosity.
