California has had bad weather for years now, little rain and more heat is the main cause for why we are seeing more and more wildfires in California. Also 90% of wildfires are caused by human neglect.
Wildfires can sometimes be caused by lightning. But we also see man, either by accident or by intent, igniting a blaze that becomes a wildland fire.
Most wildfires in California are started by human neglect, either using gas powered equipment in the wrong matter, or people smoking and throwing there lit cigarette's out onto or around dry brush, or not properly putting out camp fires.
Most of California is part of the Chaparral biome, characterized by periodic fires-- it's main natural disturbance. The plant life and vegetation is fire-adapted, produce natural oils to serve as fuel, and have seeds that will germinate only after a hot fire. Fires are supposed to happen. Basically, if you're willing to live in California, just know that you are settling down right in an area that is just about to go up in flames. In other words, you can't expect to live in the Atlantic Ocean and not get wet.
But, as is our nature, humans will do their best to complicate things. Normally small local fires will break out with lightning strikes or even spontaneous combustion on an extremely hot day. Yet usually when this happens, humans do their best to stamp it out before it actually starts burning. This happens until there is one fire, whether natural or induced, that cannot be stopped because it has been building up for so long. Then the small localized fire that was supposed to occur turns into wildfires stretching miles long.
It depends on what disasters you are referring to.
California lays on a fault line, which makes it prone to earthquakes.
California also has areas that go through periods of "wet" and "dry" seasons. Southern California is more prone to this than Northern California. During the wet season, vegetation grows rampant. Then, during the dry season, a lot of that vegetation dries out and becomes prone to fire. So during those hot, dry seasons, all it takes is one little campfire to get out of control, and the whole southern half of the state goes up in flames.
There are different causes to the different disasters. First of all, the San Andreas Fault runs through much of the state. This fault marks the boundary between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate. This fault and smaller faults associated with it can generate major earthquakes.
Much of California has a dry climate, leaving it prone to wildfires.
Due to its history of being geologically active, California has a number of steep slopes and can lead to landslides, often following earthquakes or heavy rainfall.
An earthquakes danger is caused by the ground shaking. The ground shaking can cause buildings to collapse, gas lines to break, and Tsunami's.
This is caused by a transform boundary or sliding boundary. This boundary is more commonly referred to as the San Andreas fault.
Most natural disasters in Caliifornia are wildfires and earthquakes I would say.
Usually floods, extreme cold, mudslides and earthquakes occur in California.
They Have Floods And Hurricanes

what happens in the marine biomes is hurricanes typhoons cycloons and also natural disasters

Mainly Thunderstorms and Tornadoes
Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Tsunamis, Drought, Earthquakes, and Whirlwinds are all natural disasters the happen on Earth. (Whirlwinds and Tornadoes are basically the same thing)

Natural disasters that happen in the tropical dry forest are volcanoes and forest fires. Another natural disaster that could happen is a drought.

Yes! It's very important to think about natural disasters! Anything can happen when you least expect it!

Earthquakes and Hurricanes and flooding are the biggest disasters that happen to Haiti.
