Toward the latter part of the Hundred Years War, when Joan of Arc came into the
picture, gun powder weapons were becoming much more common. They were usually cannons of different sizes and even hand-held primitive rifle-like weapons.
The French seemed to have more gun powder weapons than the English, who
still used primarily long bows and cross bows. The English did have some cannons,
however, and one almost killed the Duc D'Alencon at the battle of Jargeau in June,
1429. Joan saved his life by telling him, "to move from that place, or that engine on the castle wall will kill you." D'Alencon moved, and a few seconds later
another French soldier moved to where D'Alencon had just been standing and was
decapitated by the very cannon Joan had just pointed out.
Joan of Arc was born in 1412 and died in 1431 AD. As such, she is obviously of too late an era to be mentioned in the Christian Bible which was completed in the 4th century (the writings being even older still). The New Testament of the Bible only contains writings pertaining to Christianity of the first century and the personages of that time. Joan of Arc is a celebrated French saint who has been canonized by the Catholic Church and is not mentioned in the Bible at all, not even allegorically.
Before Joan of Arc came along the French were used to losing and it was said that one English soldier could handle ten French. After Joan of Arc took command of the French army the War completely reversed and it was said that one French soldier could handle ten English. Therefore, the French won the Hundred Years' War.by inspiring the french with her faith.Joan of Arc was born in 1412 to well-to-do peasants from the village of Domrémy in Champagne. Deeply religious, Joan experienced visions and came to believe that her favorite saints had commanded her to free France and have the dauphin crowned as king. In February 1429, Joan made her way to the dauphin's court, where her sincerity and simplicity persuaded Charles to allow her to accompany a French army to Orléans. Apparently inspired by faith of the peasant girl, the French armies found new confidence in themselves and liberated Orléans, changing the course of the war. Within a few weeks, the entire Loire valley had been freed of the English. In July of that same year, fulfilling Joan's other task, the dauphin was crowned king of France and became Charles VII. In accomplishing the two commands of her angelic voices, Joan had brought the war to a decisive turning point. Joan of Arc's accomplishments proved decisive. Although the war dragged on for another two decades, defeats of English armies in Normandy and Aquitaine ultimately led to French victory.
The technical reason for Joan of Arc's death sentence was that she was a relapsed heretic. The evidence the corrupt clergy gave for her being a relapsed heretic was that she had resumed wearing male clothes. The truth was that she was forced to resume dressing in male clothes to try to protect herself from rape so the verdict was a complete sham.

As Female Knights were something new, portions of her armor had to be adapted for her feminine frame, and the breastplate was probably silk-lined on the inside to protect her breasts. it is also often depicted in the art of Joan Of Arc that she had skirts that extended over her armored legs- and the coat of arms insignia displayed on the front panel , this was not worn in the field but in Church- as at the Coronation at Rheims and would be analogous to a modern Dress Uniform of the Army,. etc. there may have been a diagonal pattern on the skirt- and her crest enclosed within a Diamond lozenge-again indicating a Noblewoman- which she was.

Joan of Arc never broke a treaty with Paris. It was King Charles VII who made a treaty with the Burgundians and the English to not attack Paris. Joan completely disagreed with this treaty so obviously beneficial to England to refortify Paris, and she wished to attack Paris as soon as possible. She was wounded in the thigh by an arrow on Sept. 8, 1429, and was carried from the assault. Later Charles VII ordered Joan and her army to withdraw from Paris, which greatly disappointed Joan of Arc, because she wanted to take Paris and have all of France unified. King Charles VII was a coward who did nothing to save Joan of Arc (by ransom or by trading important prisoners, like Lord William Talbot, a great English commander who was then held by the French). This resulted in Joan' s execution in a mock trial which falsely accused her of heresy. She didn't even have her own lawyer in the trial! This trial's verdict was later declared null in a new trial which revealed all the errors of the original trial, a farce controlled by the English, who hated and feared Joan and wanted her dead no matter what.
