An integrated motherboard is one which has some of the "cards" built-in, such as NIC (Network Interface Card) and VGA (display).
If it is on a laptop, then it is. If of is on a desktop then you have to look at the plug. Open your computer case, if you network plug is on a card (card may look like you video card and others around it) then it is not integrated. Integrates is just a way of saying built on the motherboard. Just because you may haven integrated nic, does not mean cannot add a better / faster one. Just gets card.
The "network interface card" in your computer could be in a number of locations, I would need more specifics (motherboard, year, manufacture) in order to exactly tell you. But you can look at the motherboard and find out yourself.Where you plug your network cable into (RJ 45) is soldered onto your mother board with fine copper lines running from the individual pins of the soldered component. The fine copper lines are called traces, so if you trace the trace you should be able to follow it back to the NIC if the NIC is integrated. If you have an expansion card for your NIC well then... it's on there.
Pixel shader technology is part of your video card and its drivers. Unless your motherboard has integrated video, it has nothing to do with pixel shader. If your asrock motherboard has integrated video, find out what kind of integrated video it has & post a new question with that info.
The NIC on that motherboard, a Realtek RTL8111, is already supported in Fedora's kernel.
Consult the manual for preferred NIC type.
NIC stands for Network Interface Card. It is connected to the motherboard of the computer. It provides the device with a MAC address and allows a device to access a computer network such as the internet.
Nonintegrated system board , each major assembly is installed in the computer as an expansion card. Major assembles we are talking about are items like the video circuitry, disk controllers, and accessories. It is hard to find them these days. Integrated system board. Most of the components that would otherwise be installed as expansion cards are integrated into the motherboard circuitry. . They were designed for simplicity. Of course there is a drawback for the simplicity : when one of the components breaks , u cant just replace the component that's broken , the whole motherboard must be replaced. Although these boards are cheaper to produce, they are expensive to repair.
No. The GMA 3000 is integrated into the motherboard. Upgrading it would entail replacing the motherboard. If on a desktop machine, a better graphics card may be inserted into an expansion slot.
Any add on NIC.. You can fix it in PCI slot of the motherboard..
An integrated video card is "integrated" into the motherboard. That means the motherboard has a video card built in. A "discrete" video card means that you have a separate video card, one that typically plugs in to one of the expansion slots.
Yes, ports coming directly off the motherboard are called on-board ports or integrated components.Austin
