The agents of erosion are wind, water, and ice.
Glacially eroded valleys are normally U-shaped.
Erosion, transportation of the eroded material, deposition of this material then lithification.
Peneplain is an eroded mountain.
Transportation is a term used for the movement of sediments via transporting agents such as water, wind, ice and even gravity. Transportation is evident in rivers and streams where you can find pebbles of rock some of which might be perfectly spherical and others not quite spherical but round. Such round shapes are the result of transportation which causes attrition of rocks by hitting other rocks or materials, for example, in rivers, breaking bits off to form round shapes as supposed to angular shapes which are predominant in rocks which are freshly eroded.
because they are very old and have been eroded by the elements
Glacially eroded valleys are normally U-shaped.
Physical and chemical erosion/weathering, followed by transport and finally sedimentation. Transport is not always occuring, it is possible that eroded particles are sedimentated in situ. Also, it is higly likely that during transportation, eroded particles are even further significantly eroded/weathered. For example, when a boulder is transported downstream, it's roundness increases with time/distance travelled.

Erosion, transportation of the eroded material, deposition of this material then lithification.
Sedimentary rocks are those formed from the accumulation and cementation of other rocks and eroded rock particles usually, but not necessarily, after transportation by means of water.
The sand dune eroded during the storm. We had a picnic on the dune above the beach.
Everywhere at some depth, and on the surface where uplift and erosion have allowed them to be visible. They can also be found as pebbles or boulders in glacial drift, deposited in areas in which they do not normally appear.
it is being eroded by the wind and sea
Peneplain is an eroded mountain.
The future tense for "eroded" is "will erode."
The soil in this area was eroded after all the trees were cut.
Yes. The Grand Canyon was eroded by the Colorado River.
