Hannibel lector was the serial killer in silence of the lambs and he was loosley based on a number of serial killers including ed gein, ted bundy, Gary ridgway, and Edmund kemper he was actually based on 3 real serial killers Ed Gein(making clothes out of human skin) Ted Bundy(luring victims by using fake plaster casts) Gary Heidnik(kept sex slaves in a pit in his cellar)
