Best Answer

One of the best-known Lesbian novels was called The Well Of Loneliness, it was written by Radcliffe Hall ( no relation to the women"s college affiliated with Harvard) Radcliffe Hall was an English Lesbian writer. She died of natural causes in l943, if I remember correctly it was during the war,but not war- related- no bomb debris or anything like that. The Color Purple is another Lesbian novel. there is also the factual anthology Lesbian Nuns- Breaking Silence which is an informative read. all of these books are relatively easily available in paperback in book stores.
