If this is a federal refund you are talking about, just wait two or three weeks, you will get a written explanation in the mail. It will be a lot easier to deal with after you have read the explanation.
If nothing comes within 3 weeks, call 1-800-829-1040.
If this is a state refund, call your state tax agency. There should be a contact number on their web site or in the instruction booklet that came with your tax forms.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do besides contacting them directly and continually asking them for the funds. You could try small claims court but that will cost you more money in the end. It has nothing to do with the WAY you file or the software you used. The rebate will follow the information on the tax forms direct deposit line. If you have account number in there that is where it will go.
