It is a combined fuse number F6 that also does the stereo. You will find it in the glovebox fuse panel on the MK2 or on the MK1 it is below to the right on the drivers side.

Mine stoped working on number 4 setting took it to Renault they sayed it will cost £542.98 pence.
It is located at the backside of the motor block. You will need to a mirror to see it less to remove the engine.
Radio Code you can find in the service book. Search for the symbols C.A.R and four digits near must be a code.
You can buy it at any Renault dealer or a well equipped Motor parts store or you can search for it in the local Breakers yard, Internet or EBay. Make sure you have the Model, and chassis number to get the correct parts
the paint colour code will be on a paper label stuck to the body of the car somewhere on my megane scenic it is stuck on the lock side of the door pilar at the base.be carefull which number you use it will also have the interior trim listed as a code on the same label and it doesn't say which is which.

In my '00 Renault megane scenic, the chassis number is located under the spare tire. If you can't find it there, there's a sticker in the bottom of the B pillar on the right side of the car, that contains several numbers. The chassis number is the one that start by VF . The B pillar is the one between the front and back door. To be able to see the sticker, you have to open the right front door. Hope this helps.
