What is continental driff?
Continental "drift" is the movement of the continents (as in North America, Australia, Eurasia, ect.) across the Earth's surface. The movement of these continents, also known as tectonic plates, usually create earthquakes and tsunamis when they collide and/or grind against each other, which lead to the theory that the world will end on 2012 because of a huge earthquake and tsunami bombardment that would lead to the bottom of Africa ending up where Greenland is currently, as proclaimed in the movie "2012".

Many million years ago, the huge supercontinent theory was proposed by one man named Alfred Wegner. He explained the theory of continental drift which lead to the supercontinent called Pangea. Another man named John Tuzo Wilson proposed to theory of plate tectonics which helped scientists to believe Wegner's ideas. Together Wilson and Wegner proposed Pangea. Later on, it was split into two other smaller continents called Laurasia and Gondwanaland.
