The Bamboo Cat Shark, also known as the Japanese Wobbegong, is commonly found in the waters of the western Pacific Ocean. It can be seen in regions such as Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, and Australia. They inhabit shallow waters near coral reefs and rocky areas.
They live for 85 years.
A cat will not normally eat bamboo. If it has tried it will probably have done so to make itself sick.
